Two Notes features a minimalistic and easy-to-navigate interface. When launched, the main window displays a handful of pre-made template notes. Double-clicking these templates creates new notes that can be placed anywhere on the desktop. The notes themselves stay visible above other windows until minimized or closed, and their size and position can be adjusted intuitively.

Each note allows users to type in custom text, which is automatically time-and-date stamped. Additional organizational touches, such as assigning a category or a digital signature, support quick identification and a bit of personalization. However, customization beyond these basics is limited, and creating your own templates from scratch isn’t supported.

Features

Two Notes keeps its features basic. Notes can be resized, minimized, or rearranged on the desktop as needed. The program memorizes note positions and their content between sessions, so closing and reopening the application won’t disrupt your reminders. While this ensures convenience for casual users, those needing more advanced note-taking will find the tool lacking. There are no options for rich formatting, hotlinks, alarms, or backup/export functionality.
